What We Do
Four Pillars. One Village. Built Around the Young People of Southwest Florida.
Mental Wellness is where we start. Youth Empowerment, The Village Initiative, and Community Engagement are where the village keeps going.
Where We're Starting, and Why
Mental Wellness & Cultural Awareness
Youth ages 12–25 across Fort Myers face real mental health pressure and real gaps in access to care. ACF's founding program exists to close that gap directly, built alongside licensed counselors and community mental health professionals from day one.
What Year 1 looks like
- • 150 youth complete a structured mental wellness program
- • 40 community mentors trained and matched
- • 30 fathers enrolled in a parallel family engagement track
- • 3 clinical and community partnerships in place before full launch
- • 1 digital platform deployed for program delivery and tracking
- • 5 families in crisis at intake show measurable improvement by completion
How it works
We start by partnering with licensed counselors and mental health professionals already active in our community. We recruit and train community mentors and match them with youth in the program. The Fathers track runs alongside it, using peer facilitation so dads are learning from other dads, not just a manual.
The Other Three Pillars
Youth Empowerment & Leadership
Character training, leadership development, AI literacy, entrepreneurial skills, social skills development, and diversion awareness, built to give young people a plan for who they're becoming.
The Village Initiative
Training and support that equips parents, especially fathers, to lead their families well and stay engaged in their kids' development.
Community Engagement & Impact
Health education, immigrant assimilation support, disaster relief coordination, and strategic partnerships that strengthen Fort Myers as a whole, not just one family at a time.
